How
to become a Police Explorer
Per
post by-laws, with the exception of Junior Explorers,
Explorer candidates must be between the ages of 14 and
20. All candidates must have successfully completed
the 8th grade with no overall failing grade. All candidates
are subject to a criminal background check and a school
attendance and academic review. Candidates convicted
of a felony or violent crime will not be considered.
Final consideration rests with post advisors and the
Easton Police Department.
Interested
persons must complete an application and schedule an
interview with post advisors. Minors must have permission
from a parent/guardian and must be accompanied by such
to the interview. Further information can be provided

Applications
are available below or from the Easton Police dispatcher
at the Easton Police Department, 700 Morehouse Rd, Easton,
CT 06612. Completed applications should be mailed or
hand-delivered to Ofc. Mark Pastor at the Easton Police
Department (P.O. Box 7).
