Explorer
Uniforms
The
probationary uniform consists of a gray t-shirt, navy
blue Docker-type pants, ablack
belt, and black boots, shoes or sneakers and must be
worn to all events and meetings. This uniform must be
provided by the explorer.
Upon
the completion of probation explorers become eligible
to purchase the post uniform which consists of a short
or long-sleeved uniform shirt (depending on the time
of year), uniform trousers, a black clip-on tie, an
Easton Police tie clip, a nametag, Easton Police collar
brass, an explorer badge, a whistle and chain, an 8-point
uniform hat with hat badge, a black belt, black socks,
and black boots or shoes. The shirt, pants, and hat
are purchased by the Explorer through the department.
The belt, socks and shoes are provided by the Explorer.
All other equipment is provided by the department and
with the exception of the badge, is given to the explorer
for the duration of their membership.
Optional
uniform equipment consists of a blue commando sweater,
navy blue police-style jacket, black leather or nylon
duty belt, yellow traffic vests (mandatory during traffic
direction), gloves, and a post baseball-style hat.
Explorers
will be issued ID cards that are to be carried during
all meetings and events.
